One of the key results achieved by the Partnership is the development of the first Watershed Protection Plan accepted by the U.S. EPA in the State of Texas. This living document forms the backbone of efforts in the watershed and provides guidance as the Partnership moves forward to implement a variety of strategies to restore and protect water quality.

The Watershed Protection Plan is intended to be a living document and is updated every two years to include new data as well as changing conditions within the watershed over time. The Plan will evolve as circumstances dictate and will be guided by the PCWP Steering Committee and public stakeholders.

PCWP Interlocal Agreement for Long-term Sustainability
Interlocal Agreement among Hays County, Caldwell County, City of Luling, City of Kyle, city of Buda, City of Lockhart, City of Uhland, Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority, Plum Creek Conservation District, Polonia Water Supply Corporation, Caldwell-Travis Soil & Water Conservation District #304, and Hays County Soil & Water Conservation District #351, regarding implementation of the Plum Creek Watershed Protection Plan. In 2023, the Interlocal Agreement was amended to reflect the change of Aqua Water Supply Corporation, which absorbed Polonia Water Supply Corporation. Other minor amendments were made as well.
