PCWP Steering Committee Meeting

Above is a recording of the Plum Creek Watershed Partnership’s most recent On-Site Septic Facility Workshop, recorded December 2022. This virtual OSSF Workshop was intended to help homeowners understand their home wastewater system and provide basic knowledge on the installation, operation and maintenance of the different home septic systems. Both aerobic systems and conventional septic systems were discussed in the workshop. Stay connected to see more helpful content like this in the future.

Let’s give a warm welcome to the Partnership’s new Watershed Coordinator, Sean Melvin! Sean has joined our community to help continue our mission to improve the water quality within our watershed by being an important conduit of connection. He is a University of Tennessee graduate and earned a B.S. in Environmental Science with a Minor in Watershed Resources. Sean’s entire career has focused on the protection of the environment and its water resources. He has done similar work to this position in Tennessee serving as a Stormwater Technician with the Knox County Stormwater Department. He also spent time in Florida working with St. Johns County Growth Management Department as an Environmental Specialist. Sean is happy to call Texas home, and he is ready to bring his passion for water quality to Plum Creek as our new Watershed Coordinator.
